Arm Knitting - Now That's Fun!

As well as buying to resell in the hope of turning a profit I've decided to not waste my time watching tv while my hands sit idol. I've a huge stash of wool that I really need to use up and I might just be able to sell some of the finished items - especially as scarfs are my speciality and winter is just around the corner!


While looking for fast and easy knits I stumbled upon arm knitting and thought I'd give it a go. My first attempt was actually quite successful and spurned me on to knit bigger and better ... from scarf to throw :) 

I could try to explain it to you but why waste precious knitting time when Simply Maggie is such a beautiful blog that you should all go visit anyhow! But here's her video for those of you who just want a quick tutorial and to get stuck in!

Tomorrow I was hoping to get out for a couple of hours on the bike (my trusty little CG125) but if the weather is yuk I will make up another throw and post photos! If it turns out well I will try listing it on one of the many craft selling web sites out there.
